Your body is detoxing itself.
detox from alcohol
A deficiency in vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) will produce dry mouth so bad that no amount of water will resolve it, excessive urination, nausea and vomiting, night muscle spasms, muscle cramps, numbing and tingling and prickling sensations in the outer extremities ie ~ hands and feet, arms and legs ……….. if you are deficient in B6 you would also be displaying iron deficiency anemia symptoms as B6 and B12 are needed for effective iron assimilation (as is calcium and vitamin D) ….. symptoms of iron deficiency anemia are excessive feelings of being cold, nasty nasty headaches and migraines, dizzy spells, fatigue and exhaustion and paleness of skin.
Take a multi B complex supplement to help bolster a healthy neural, digestive and immune system ….. the B complex of vitamins is a water soluble complex and as such our bodies can neither store or produce them…. therefore we need to ingest them on a daily basis or suffer the stress related side affects as you unfortunately are.
Get one that contains all the B’s as they all work best as a group ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, folic acid etc…. don’t buy any of them individually but rather as a whole group unless specifically told to do so by a nutritionally oriented physician or naturopath….. a liquid supplement would be the easiest for your body to assimilate.
Foods rich in B6 are brewer’s yeast, wheat bran, wheat germ, fish, cantaloupe, cabbage, organic unsulphured blackstrap molasses, unmilled rice and eggs.
Things that will rob you of your precious B complex of vitamins are first and foremost stress, eating too much tinned or frozen food, eating too much protein, antidepressants, antibiotics, otc cold and flue meds, diuretics, laxatives, the oral contraceptive and eostrogen supplementation (if you are female), alcohol, caffeine and sodas, pop and soft drinks.
foods rich in calcium to ensure effective B6 and B12 assimilation are leafy and green vegies (preferably raw as cooking devitalises them), organic nuts and seeds such as almonds, brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, fresh sardines, tuna and salmon …… organic with the nuts and seeds to avoid the nasty sulfites and other chemicals they use to “preserve” the commercial varieties that will upset sensitive bodies.
get 10 – 15 mins per day of safe sun exposure (vitamin D ~ the sunshine vitamin) to ensure effective calcium assimilation or simply eat fresh tuna, sardines and salmon all rich in calcium and vitamin D and vitamins B6 and 12.
naturally resolving the issue will always be the best way.
hope this helps you
peace baby
