dont listen to all these fools. i quit heroin myself without going to detox, anyone can do it. you wont die if you dont go to detox, the only drug that can happen with is benzo’s or alcohol. if you want you can try to dose yourself down over weeks to avoid intense withdrawl but either way youre gonna feel shitty, probably for a few weeks. cold sweats, pains, bad mood, exhaustion, temperature fluctuations, and cravings can last for months. but if you really want to do it you can, just smoke some pot and try to relax.

Detoxing is very serious. You need to go to a facility to help you detox. We are talking life or death here. You are playing with fire trying to detox at home. Get on the internet to find a facility close to you.
